Above: centerpieces I made for the baby shower
My sister-in-law and her husband are expecting their first child, a girl, this November. I can't tell you how excited I am to be an aunt and meet my niece! I had the honor of helping out with her baby shower. I had so much fun designing the invitations and making the decorations. I ended up not using the napkin rings I made, or doing the favor boxes. But, everything turned out pretty cute! The shower was held at Main Street Pub in Allendale this afternoon, where I've done chair covers for a wedding reception before. So of course I was excited to be able to dress up the chairs for her shower too. I used the sage green sashes, which went well with the theme of the shower and her nursery bedding called "Bunny Meadow." The bedding has a bunny and dragonfly's on it in grass -- so cute! We set-up for a reception at Wallinwood today as well. I should have some pictures up from that later this week...it was beautiful! Here are a few photos of some of the details from the shower today.
