Vendors: Kate Webb | Smart Design

This month I'm featuring a very talented graphic designer out of Chicago, who is originally from West Michigan, and has done a lot of work for the West Michigan community. Her name is Kate Webb and she owns/operates her own freelance graphic design business, Smart Design. This isn't just any vendor though. Kate was my roommate at Ferris State University our senior year. She designed my husband and I's wedding invitations, map cards, response cards, programs, and table numbers. We received so many compliments on them, and thought the rest of West Michigan should know about her incredible design ability.

Webb works with her clients vision to create custom invitations, reply cards, welcome packages and booklets, programs, maps, menu cards, table cards, thank you notes, and anything else you need! Webb can create something beautiful for a variety of budgets, "I would love to help make your invitations as unique as you are for your special day...I can create a simple design that is cost effective to print. I am also able to use a variety of printing techniques and materials to create a fun and custom look for your invitations, program, keepsakes, etc."

With design fees starting at only $100, and printing costs starting around $300, you're bound to get what you need for a great price! Both prices may vary depending on time and materials, so contact Webb for more information. However, she can work within a given budget. The final products are shipped directly to the client. Webb suggests giving her a minimum of three months for design time. Although, she can do rush jobs if necessary.
